TAAG Angola Airlines is strengthening its presence in East Africa with the launch of a new direct link between Luanda and Nairobi.

The airline announced that passenger flights on the route will begin on September 1, 2025, with three weekly frequencies. This service is expected to boost business and leisure travel while improving regional connectivity between Southern and Eastern Africa.

In addition to passenger operations, TAAG has already been serving the Luanda–Nairobi corridor with dedicated cargo flights since April 2025. These freighter services run weekly and play a key role in transporting Kenyan flowers and other perishable goods to international markets, with a capacity of up to 18,000 kilograms per flight.

By adding Nairobi to its network, TAAG is expanding both its commercial and cargo footprint, positioning Luanda as a strategic hub for trade and travel across Africa.
